Auschwitz one, concentration camp , The Black Wall (a place of execution).

The polish town Oświęcim (Auschwitz in German) located in Poland approximately 50 kilometers west of Kraków and 286 kilometers south from Warsaw. The concentration camp took its name from the nearby town. Signs of the communist area is also very visible today, here one example.

Auschwitz 2 Birkenau. Birkenau, the German translation of Brzezinka, refers to the many birch trees surrounding the complex. The camp was mostly used for killings in large quanta.
