Oslo-snapshot: a freelancers dream

Foto: Kyrre Skjelby Kristoffersen

In English here:

It's what I've wanted all my life: To appear in a photo so beautiful like this one. (That's right, don't believe everything you read in here) It's not a longed for desire, though, it's a little bit true, when you give the photo a meaning besides being beautiful with it's colours and it's lighting (and it's smiling). I guess it's a feeling of ones dream being achievable.

Location: Oslo, Shopping Street "Hegdehaugsveien/Bogstadveien" at Lille (little) Asia restaurant. Occasion: The spring is arriving. What: I'm testing this sushi & thai "fine-diner" for an article I write for an Oslo-lifestyle magazine, and just simply fell in love with the mango-salmon teriyaki role...

There is, however, the possible attention of delusional thoughts coupled to this photo. Such as "freelance journalism is glam and glorious times", and of course, it's not (all the time). This is just one second, one snap, one side, one moment. This is the side where one happy freelancer is sharing a free (happens to be wonderful) meal with the handsome photographer of the day. Living the dream right there, right now. In moments like this, you simply can't complain. What happens afterwards is another story..
